In an era of higher interest rates and a reduced ability of buyers to borrow funds, some buyers have come up with creative methods to acquire real estate. Buying and quickly flipping properties, assuming the seller’s existing loan, wrap-around transactions (where the existing loan is not paid off), and entity transfers are all ways to get around the normal process of applying for a mortgage loan and using it to buy property.
