It’s been a while since I’ve been “active” on LinkedIn, but they’re doing some pretty cool stuff these days that’s been catching my attention.
For example, they just relaunched their “Contacts” app today with the rebranded name of “Connected” (iTunes link here). It’s a new look and feel, more user friendly and has a bigger focus on strengthening relationships with your contacts.
If you haven’t checked out the app before, you should. It’ll notify you of jobs changes, birthdays, work anniversaries, & more. All things that provide you with a reason to reach out to your contacts.
They also added some integrations with other apps like Evernote (sync notes with contacts), your calendar (tells you who you’re meeting with and what you need to know about them), and TripIt (if you travel a lot, it’ll tell you who you should connect with when you’re in other cities).
